Bharati College is one of the best women's college in West Delhi. It is also a constituent campus of the Delhi University. This College was founded by the Administration of Delhi with the name of Bharati Mahila College in September 1971. The process of college started from the premised of the govt senior secondary school of boys which is situated on Link Road in Karol Bagh. At that time 241 students & 13 members of the staff spread above with 6 Disciplines,

When the college starts it offered courses only in B.A program which is also known B.A pass. Also, some other courses like office management & Dress Designing & Tailoring. Now our college has also included English honors, hind honors, Sanskrit, History, Political science, economics, commerce & Maths and So on.
