In 1991 Shri Chander Shekhar, then the PM of India announced that the establishment of Acharya Narendra Dev College in the name of His Ideology. Starting with the allotment of 4 room in SPS design in R. K Puram Sec 4 School, College starts its 1st batch of students & starting its journey, began teaching programs with only 2 courses names as B.com Hons & B.sc general 'A' with 80 students.
After that in August 1992, the College moved on to its present premises in Govindpuri, Near Kalkaji, New Delhi. Which was just leave by Shaheed Bhagat Singh College & Then start B.Sc Hons electronics & B.Sc general Computer science? After that in 1993 we add new course which is B.sc Hons in Physics & Chemistry, In 1994 Botany, zoology & Mathematics, In 1996 B.Sc General 'B' group, 1995 B.Sc general sericulture in 1995 and last in 1996 PGDCA.
